What To Expect at Baratang Island Tour
Travel & Permits
A permit is required to visit Baratang, which will be arranged by the tour operator.
The journey passes through the Jarawa Tribal Reserve – stopping, photography, or interacting with the tribe is strictly prohibited.

Transportation & Journey Details

A government ferry ride takes you from Nilambur Jetty to Baratang Island.
A motorboat ride through mangrove creeks is required to reach the limestone caves.
